Adults Rowing Program

The Rochester Rowing Club’s adult program is for adults of all athletic backgrounds and ages. Recreational and competitive rowers are welcome and can find their happy niche. 

Curious about rowing but have no experience? Attend one of our Learn-To-Row programs. Stop by the boathouse to talk to our coaches and members. Email the coach with questions.

Too busy to commit to an entire season but still want to row? Experience rowers are invited to join us for one of our summer Crew and Brew events.

SPRING/SUMMER/FALL PROGRAM April – October

Practices: 
Tuesdays and Thursdays: 6 pm
Saturday 8-10 am

Option to compete in regattas, usually 2 sprint races in the summer and 2-3 head races in the fall.

Training Fee Options:
$400 + processing fee:  3-months, reduced to $250 for full time collegiate rowing students
$620 + processing fee: full season April – October
Prorated Fall-only rates maybe available.

Regatta Fee: charged per event

Registration: on-line at Boathouse Connect. Select group “Adults Season 2023” or “Adult 3-months 2023”

CREW AND BREW

1st Thursdays and 3rd Saturdays
June-August
NOTE: June 17th Crew and Brew is cancelled. The team and the boats will be competing at the Minneapolis Sprints on Lake Nokomis. July 15th has the same conflict, so dates may be changing. Check back here for updates.

We welcome all experienced rowers beginner to advanced.
Must have completed an RRC Learn-To-Row or have previous rowing experience.

After we row, join us for some good conversation and a tasty brewed beverage.

Registration: $15 +processing fee, on-line at Boathouse Connect. Select group “Crew and Brew”
Waiver signature required when signing up.

WINTER PROGRAM

Concept2 row erg workouts and technique development.
No rowing experience required. New to erging? Join us to learn correct form, prevent injuries, and engage in a full body workout, guaranteed to make you sweat. 

Training Fee: $325
Dates: December 1 2022- March 30 2023
Location: Silver Lake fire house
Time: Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6-8 pm,
               Saturday 8-9:30 am
